OH Well... guess it was my turn...car get's busted in... petty thieves get the radio and speakers...

I think it's just all VW's.  My 84 rocco has been broken into twice.  The
jetta I had got it once.  The 85 I bought used had been spiked on both door
handles before I bought it and the Coraddo I had for 3 1/2 years got it 3
times.  1 time the glass then in the drivers door the other 2 times.  Right
after I got it repaired the 2nd time some one stole the damb grill & emblem
out of it.

My 84 has no radio and stays in garage except for nice sunny days when I
drive it around in parking lots like a mad fool.  I also never lock it when
I have it out.  I've managed to keep theives out of it (that I know of) for
about 6 years now.
