intake manifold coatings. outcome

After checking numerous outlets for performance, autobody, and supply
parts houses I found DA shiat! Ceramic in a can that acctually
dissipates heat from the manifold. You can get it at Nappa, and it's
relativly inexpensive 4-5 per can. It took me 4 cans to do the intake
of a V8- so a scirocco should get by with one can for several coatings.

Remember to degrease WELL, or get pocking.

This stuff works great coated well, is tough once dry, and looks Sweet!
I think it's a Krylon formulation. suatable up to 1200 degrees for
limited periods, or 500 constant. The manufacturer even claims Dyno
improvements with the product. Personally, I only used it as a
functional aesthetic. I didnt want a coating that could possible inhibit
the dissipation of heat!

T'care all!
