removing the a/c

90% of weight value of the AC system is the compressor and main engine
hoses.
the proble is NOT remove it that is such PITA, but seems the problem are
with the alternator bracket and finding a proper size belt.

i got a question bout my 85 8v scirocco. is it possible to remove the a/c?
if so is it alot of hard work? anybody did this?
