I know of a few scrap yards around myplace, one in which I did see a 88
Cabriolet with manifold and exhaust, but I cannot remember if it was an 8v
or 16v but I will try to pass by it again to make sure. last time the guy
asked for 70S for both (manifold and downpipe) and it looks very nice (new
bolts on the the engineon it, (probably rebuilt recently (car was rear
ended) indicates at good quality too for that price. I know I want it if it
is an 8v, but if it is a 16v engine, I will buy it for yeah and I can pass
it on to you (you pay shipping + what I pay for it) , okay?

Sorry Cathy, but I am going to have to abdicate my abdication....

I was going to sell the 16v and scrap the other, but a guy at work and that
devil Daun have helped me see the light!

Has any one got a Scirocco exhaust manifold for a 16v engine in decent
shape? Dee and I just figured out that the one on my car is still the Jetta
manifold.

I want this thing to run before spring. God help me, my nails and hair...
