[OT] Carfax report please

Larry,

Well, I just ran the car I'm going to be buying with the help of another
lister's account. (Thanks a bunch to Kevin for that!) It really didn't tell
me much, but they give you a 6 page report, I guess to make it seem like
it's telling you a bunch. But the car I ran was a 2001 model, so the report
just confirmed what the seller told me, and that is that he is the original
owner and he bought the car from the dealer with only 15 miles on it. It can
tell you if it's a salvaged car, or been a manufacturer buy-back (lemon) or
if different owners have reported inconsistent mileage ever (suggesting
possible odometer roll-backs.)
