Scirocco 2 - The prev. owner let the car get broken
into multiple times (took 3 years to finally get all
the broken glass out of the carpet and the seat rails)
and the drivers side door panel bulges at the top and
won't stay on the window sill.

Yeah - the gold foil-ring is missing some foil -
rubbed off... I really like the wheel (leather wrapped
MK2) and doesn;t make contact all the way around.  Is
this swappable from another wheel?  I cant figure out
how to take the wheel apart....

Schweet - I used to know all this info, but have gone
stupid over the last year or so ;)  It must have been
the taller VW 2.0 that needs the adaptor...

She loves both my cars (vanagon & rocco).  I picked
her up in the roc on our first date, and she told me
later that it really impressed her... which will
always remain a mystery to me.  Taught her how to
drive a stick in it, loan it to her when her POS Acura
isn't running... she actually encourages my
overindulgence on the weekends so she can drive me
home and keep my car for a few days...

Her Acura's tranny just died (no reverse) and now I am
worried she will abscond with the roc some day.
