Engine Problems

1.8 16V

I'm having a nearly identical problem. If I allow the engine to idle for
more than 10 seconds at a light it will not want to come off idle. Hold the
idle at 2k and I can leave the light every time.

No vacuum leaks, timing set correctly, idle set correctly, idle stabilizer
valve clean and working, plugs and wires new, pressure good. The only other
problem is a weak transfer pump. I believe the transfer pump is bad because
it will act like it is out of gas on hard acceleration and hard cornering
when at or below a 1/4 tank.

The opinions of this esteemed list would be appreciated.
