16v head on a 1.7L engine

I'm not swapping blocks, I'm thinking of swapping heads. I already have a
1.7 engine, and it works fine, but I was thinking of putting on the head of
a 1.8 16v. Then eventually I'd get the block to go with the head, and I'd
then be going up displacement. but at that pont I might as well go with a
2.0, which is what I'm thinking anyway. It would be easier to cut out the
middle steps and just drop a whole new engine in there, and then deal with
the wiring, rather than update it one peice at a time.
