wheel bearing

The other one!  For what its worth, the common diagnosis is that the bad 
bearing is the side that the sound goes away when the load is on it.  
Though, I have personal experience of one that was completely fried and I 
had teh opposite symptoms.

Are you positive it is even a wheel bearing issue?
