Qurstion about Idle Stab. system

Cory,
It is an ecu controlled valve that bypasses the throttle. This allows the ecu to change the
idle. They 'hum' due to the control method. The ecu sends a constant frequency/variable dwell
voltage to the valve, thus making it 'appear' at a fixed throttled position (as far as the engine is
concerned, since its speed isnt going to respond to a ~80 hz pulsing of intake air).
From an 8v to 16v difference standpoint, this valve handles the function of the cold start valve
as well as raising idle for a/c compressor load and such.
