MK1 rain gutter removal, yay or nay?

I have been thinking of doing the same thing....this is another spot I
have seen mk1s start to rust at....since my car is going to be a Summer
only toy, and it doesn't rain too much round here, I have been thinking
that I will do that...as well as cut my roof for a ragtop....gotta love
ebay :-)
