a quick abbreviated version: his ad said he was selling car for $1000 
because he needed money, and at the time i was looking for a new project. i 
responded and he sent me pictures of a gorgeous red scirocco with black bbs 
rims. he said he had just put coilovers on the car, some kind of cam, car 
had a cd player etc.. anyway i drive three hours to see this car that was a 
total disaster. the pass. side quarter was pretty badly hit, and right on 
the corner. would have been a tuff fix. the car had dents all over it, the 
pillars, the roof, the doors. it looked liked someone had gone after it with 
a bat. no cd player, no bbs rims, hell the neighborhood didn't even match 
the neighborhood in the background of the pic! the car sat crooked and 
handled like sh*t. every seat in the car was ripped, the pass. side door 
didn't work.... you get the picture. then you had to deal with a guy who was 
definatly on something, talking constantly and bragging how he'd been up for 
four days straight. it just wasn't a good scene, and thats barely half the 
story. anyways, thanks for the link. i'll definatly check it out, i've 
always wanted a pickup.
