Hello Brett,


As I suppose you have the 16 V "PL" installed
 you need the intake camshaft from the "KR" engine to benefit from the bigger intake manifold
or a camshaft setup with similar or even more agressive timing than the KR has.

In addition we here in Germany switch from PL to KR control-computer 
as the engine runs not rich enough with the PL module.
 In the Scirocco list somebody offers fuel enrichment modules, you want to go for that also.
I just don't know who that one is . Brian Honnold ? I can't remember.
