drilling bottom or air box



When you get to 155hp with 138ftlbs of torque to the wheels you can call =
(my) ram air setup ugly. Till then, see you on the street. That's all I =
wanted to point out. For some of us there is very little left to do.=20

Zero HP!!! 'cause it has eight bent valves...

But, I am building a fun motor: 9A long block, 83mm 8V
pistons. Niuspeed TB, port matched ported Intake
Manifold, port matched 4-2 manifold, TT 2" exhaust.
G-Grind (I'm too old for a wilder cam ;) ). I will put
a solid 8V JH head, will port match it, 3-angle valve
job. I also threw away the AC, and installed lighter
euro bumpers. At this point, I might also want to lose
20 pounds myself ;0

I will probably never dyno it, too cheap for that. I
don't think it is a "serious motor", just a fun motor
to drive around town.

I sense that you might have been offended by my
comments, was not my intentions.

If you like the effect of the ram air intake,  keep it
that's all there is to it. You might start to see 1-2
HP above 120MPH perhaps? Eh I used to do this on all
my Chevys, reverse the air filter top box for a
"racier" sounding motor. It never made the Chevys
faster...
