drilling bottom or air box

yeah I did somethign similar, and 1) it gets cleaner air 2) it gets no road
splash water into the arbox. a must for Audi5K tb conversions, bring smore
clean air to it...

Yes, letting hot nasty engine bay air into your motor will help reduce
harmful horsepower. In fact, you lose about one hp for ever 10deg increase
in air temperature. Go for it!
