Your only looking for 10hp. EASY to get that with just an exhaust system.
When I first installed a used JH in my Roc, (Then a Street Prepared legal
car. Class allows NO engine mods.) I got 117hp to the crank with just
doing a Euro distributor, K&N filter, dual outlet manifold, 2" Eurosport
cat back exhaust. Stock head & cam, 86 GTi throttle body (AKA Audi 5000
TB.) and the manifold ported for the TB to fit/flow right.
Thats was it! The motor had 80K on it when i got it. All I did was
freshen up the seals and throw in a new clutch.
