16v head shave Meze you got an opinion...



Well, to answer the first part of your question, you can shave the head to
the minimum mark (on the head) without moving the stud for the tensioner.
When I did this it was about .040 (thousandths of an inch).  If you go
further than that you will need to either move the tensioner stud so you can
actually get the t-belt tight.  I have never done this or seen anyone do
this so I don't have experience in this area. 40 thous was enough for me as
it actually came really close to getting into the intake valve seats.

As far as your second question, ABSOLUTELY!  Meze ALWAYS has an opinion!
