starting problems

That's a bad connection there James. Bow to the gods of the free =
electron and clean that up. Liberal amounts of dielectric grease will =
help keep the problem from returning. This and a dead battery could be =
most of your problems.

  yeah, it turns over but slowly like you said it sounds strongest when =

another thing is i was lookin at the connections to the starter and i =
saw smoke, or maybe steam where the positve cable connects, if that =
means anything at all to ya. And one last thing, i think it may be a =
junk starter and the guy i bought it from thought it was the fuel pump =
relay that was causing the hard starting but i replaced it with the =
scirocco one but didn't fix it.
