One last plea for help!!!!!...PLEASE

I have asked for assistance a few times on my Passat ignition problems...and have got
some help but it has not been enough to get this thing running again... I really do not
want to get into it again because I do not think I could write enough but I would like to
get in touch with anyone who is knowledgeable about Motronic.

In a nutshell I have performed all of the checks in the Bently, Used three different
coils and two different power stages and still little or no spark coming out of the
coil..I do not know what to do next.  One question I have is that if I remove the coil
wire from the disributor and place it close to the engine and turn the car over I should
get a huge white/blue spark but instead I get a very small inconsistent orange
one....there are many many things I have tried and do not want to list them ....anyway I
just need to discuss what I have done and what else I can do before I lose it and do the
unthinkable............take it to a mechanic.........

Is it possible for me to rent/borrow the vag computer tool to diagnose the computer???

is it worth it??


any other ideas.....I have always maintained a good system voltage using jumper cables
and have added so many ground wires there is no more room in the engine compartment

I am running out of ideas...oh and let me add that it does not act the same every time
