Power loss, questionable mechanics.. WTF?

Chris I have seen it done before, not by me but I have seen it done.
Anything is possible with enough torque and you happen to be inexperienced
at what you are doing. Just passing along an option. And yes the fly wheel
can be indexed wrong, now can you explain how this happens?
Is this just on aftermarket one or factory? And can an inexperienced
machinist fubar the factory one? Just wanna know? This I am not sure on.
