Power loss, questionable mechanics.. WTF?



Ya you can index the lower harmonic pulley every 90 degrees, 4 bolts hold it
in place. If you had an in experienced tech do the timing belt it is
possible, that is why everytime I do one I pull the #1 plug and bring the
piston to TDC and reinstall the harmonic balancer from there (haven't been
wrong yet).

The other thought is, is the keyway is broken on the crank snout and causing
the timing gear to slip, that can happen.
