Tie rod help pleas

Yes, I've done it. A real pain in the ass. I thought I saw a post =
earlier that described it quite well.=20

Description one.
The cup that is the inner joint actually is threaded on the inside. =
There is a jamb nut next to it and the rack is the "bolt". You need to =
loosen the jamb nut from the inner joint by turning it towards the enter =
line of the car once it moves you are done with it. Start turning the =
inner joint away from the center line of the car.

Description two.
Looking at the end of the rack from the position of the wheel, the jamb =
nut turns clockwise while holding the inner joint stationary. Next the =
inner joint turns counter clockwise while holding the rack stationary.

Installation is the reverse with an alignment of course.
