16v Injectors

Is there any difference in the 16v injectors between the 9A and PL?  I 
noticed that ETKA listed different part numbers (035 133 551 F and 026 133 
551, respectively) and TT has different numbers listed (and prices) as well.

I ask because of the following problem:
My old injectors are trashed.  They leak.  I do get quick, albeit lumpy, 
starts with them, however.  No amount of injector cleaner (Techron and 
Redline) has made any difference.  I bought some new injectors for it 
almost a year ago.  I've had them in the car about three times, but I keep 
pulling them out and putting the old ones back in.  With the new ones, the 
engine takes quite a bit of cranking to start (except when cold) and when 
it does, it idles at about 2,000 RPM for a second, then settles down to 
normal.

Anyone know what's going on?  I'm thinking I have the wrong new injectors, 
but don't want to spend another $200 as an experiment.  Both fuel pumps and 
the accumulator are new, BTW.
