16v Injectors

Don't know how applicable this is...just last week a guy I know in
Louisville swapped a head and intake from a Passat onto his 9A (in an
A2 GTI). Was having trouble with it lugging badly at low RPM. I asked
and it turns out he used the 9A's original injectors which were for CIS
Motronic, whereas his FI was CIS-E. Not knowing Motronic's system
pressures, flow rates, or anything else, I told him to put his original
application PL / CIS-E injectors in and the problems disappeared.

My read: Use the injectors matched to your FI/engine management
system, not the ones originally supplied with the piece of iron.
