2.0 16v intermediate shaft

don't 4get, the 16v has a smaller sprocket on the intermediate shaft, as it
is to turn %60 of the crank speed to feed the squirters, rather than %50 in
the 8V (timing...)

Does the intermediate shaft on the 16v have bearings?  I know its a stupid
question, it should but I don't know how to get the bastards out if they are
there.
