series resister again...



okay, so i tried this AGAIN today, with no luck. took the blower motor out 
of the donor to get a better look.  2 wires from the resistor go to the 
brushes on the motor. they don't seem to want to come off. the rest of the 
wires disappear back inside the car, through a small hole, and look to end 
in a plug waaay under the dash. someone emailed me how easy this was (though 
allyn was talking about removing hoods and things), that the resistor wires 
are soldered to the resistor.  am i total idiot here, missing something 
easy, or is this a true pain in the ass? that is, i see a way to do it, just 
nothing resembling an easy way.  don't know if it's worth it just for speeds 
1&4.
