Speaking of rice

  A couple of weeks ago, a kid tore himself apart in Laval (north of
Montreal) in an Accura (no detail given in the news item). He lost
control, missed a curve, mowed a utility pole, and the pieces ended up
in a Lumina sitting next to a Scirocco in a driveway. Two of his three
buddies (all under 20) went with him.

  At the time they did not know for sure how fast he was going,
estimates are between 60 and 100 mph, in a residential area.

  He had also been spotted earlier that night in bar.
