Coolent Temp sensor

Since my temp gage doesn't work, I thought I might try to track the =
problem down.  First off, finding the damn sensor.  Would I be correct =
if I said that the coolent sensor is on the back of the block and =
appears to be a nail head fitting?  This is on a 16v by the way.
