On the topic of superchargers

This from a guy that owns what? An Ur-Quattro and a
TQW! Yeah, "modern". (I love those cars, BTW, but they
do have lots of lag)

What a nice comment to make. I must have missed the
post where you said you drove an SC car...

Um, sure, if you say so. Yeah, I have driven them at
autocrosses. Great car. I'd take one over a VR6 any
day. I also have autocrossed a WRX. Even better (I
plan to own one soon). They still have lag. Just
because you aren't skilled enough to notice it doesn't
mean it isn't there. And that's at stock boost levels,
which are roughly equivalent to what an SC can do
sans-lag. Sure, turbos have LOTS more raw power
potential, but not without increasing spool-up time.

Look, I have agreed with most of your points from the
beginning, but it is clear to me now you obviously are
biased and have a totally closed mind. Your only
response to my points earlier was to say that an MR2
and an RX-7 make great autocrossing cars. If you
actually knew anything about it at all you'd be
embarrassed about that comment, but I won't even try
to explain why. I'm tired of your insulting comments.
I'm tired of your attitude. I'm tired of trying to use
logic against ignorance and biased emotion.

If it makes you feel better, you win. I thought it
could have been an interesting discussion about the
pros/cons of each side, but clearly you're more
interested in being the winner of an all-or-nothing
debate. Just don't spend all the prize money in one
place...
