Don't think that's gonna do the trick, it's not realy a "stud" more like =
a bolt protruding under the car from the body. I'm hoping it's like the =
press fit studs on the upper strur bearings, only larger. I can see a =
washer like thing inside the car (under the pedal assembly) I just hope =
it's not welded in there!

Thank for the responce, your method is indeed sound for regular studs =
i.e. exhaust...

If the stud is sticking out far enough, use lots of =
Liquid-wrench/Kroil, a little mapp, a vise-grip, and voila'....you'll be =
in fat city.
If it's not, substitute easy-out (see old thread) for the vise-grips.

Okay I've snapped a stud that holds the rear control arm piviot =
bracket.... I've exposed the top of the stud under the carpet inside the =
car (i can see it no problem ) so how do i get the succer out? Please =
dont tell me it's welded in there :( Can I heat it with oxy/mapp and =
pop it out with the perswader?\

    damn rust!

    thanks
