Well, never mind stepping down the voltage, and please forgive my
ignorance of high-power solutions. It looks like a MOSFET switching
solution should handle this quite nicely. I have been mucking around
with standard transistors, when it looks like MOSFETs might well be
able to be set up in pretty much the same way the relays are! It
looks like this might have just gotten a lot easier than I thought it
would be. I am just going to have to run out and buy a handful of
MOSFETs and play around with this.







The goal is to overcome the deliberate nature of the process.
