head work

hey everyone.

i got word of some guy that ports heads for 
ice racers down here, so i was thinking of sending 
my head to him. a guy i work with sent him his 8v
head for his rabbit on 2L and it blasts, so i figure
i'll try him out.

i got the TT heavy duty valve springs on the way, ARP studs,
it'll be up for a rebuild and 3 angle valve job. the guy
mentioned something about machining the guides (talkin
french too fast)

i've seen a couple of people deck the heads to get
some more juice. what do people usually do to deck
the heads for 11:1 compression?

anything else i should while i'm there?
