It has begun! (bought the TEC-II)

Yup, I just bit the proverbial bullet and bought that TEC-II system for
$1000. This is an outrageous deal, of course. (The regular retail price is
around $1800.) On top of that I'd have to purchase the sensors and all that
crap which I've scored along with the system. Woohoo! What I do need to
spend more on, though, is the upgrade to the new Windows-based tuning
software. (Well, actually the software is a free download but the ROM has to
be purchased for $199.)

This means that the throttlebodies are just a few paychecks away. With the
extra 3D mappable control, any reservations that I have about nitrous will
be averted, too. So, it is looking like 250hp is *very* easily within my
grasp. Even 275hp should be no problem at all. But, I want to keep it
conservative, dig? ;^)
