Re: 2.0 Motronic swap questions

I have checked this out and even though it is a very good write up, is not
the only way to do the Motronic swap. I am in the process of swaping sides
for the fuel system and think that this is another attractive option when
looking at Euro intakes and the 8.8% increase in air flow between the stock
Scirocco 16v intake and the stock A2 2.0L 16v intake (are the 1.8L 16v
intakes the same as the 2.0L 16vs?). When looking at ANY swap, I look at
how to get the most for the least and I wouldn't want to do a swap and not
get the full potential of the swap. I am expecting at least 15hp increase
with this setup and probably more (2.0L 16v with PP head, cams, ETC!). It
is easy to swap the intake with the fuel system, easier to hook up the wires
when they are already the necessary length, and all the connections are
there (in later Motronic there was an air temp sensor in the intake, etc.)
Plus, it isn't that difficult to run the fuel lines to the other side of the
car. Next comes the 50 shot!!
