Disregard my previous post. (about 2 min ago...) 

I feel its got to be the clutch. More specific, probably the flywheel
wasnt cut properly. More specific to that, they machined the clutch PP
mating surface of the flywheel but not the clutch surface the same if at
all. This would allow the clutch to not fully disengage causing the
clutch to drag as you described. 

Make sense?
