It just started acting up all of a sudden, no warning.  With the car at idle 
using a timing light I can't get the strobe to flash on the timing marks 
regardless of distributor position.  Well before the breakdown, the timing 
was fine and adjusted using the light the distributor was at the middle of 
the adjustment limits.  Now the car will not start unless the distributor is 
advanced all the way.

I will check the grounds, the 16V knockbox I bought used from someone on the 
vortex, so I don't know for sure.
