Please don't throw 'em away. I need one for an 81S that I'm doing a complete 
restore. Although, I'm not going to be anywhere near Essex, VT in the near 
future, I'd like to figure out a way to get at least one, if not both of 
those MK1 tanks. I pressume shipping would be outlandish, but cheaper than 
buying "one" from the stealership.

Speaking of MK1 gas tanks... I have 2 of them right now.. also one from an
'84 jetta gli.  i was just gonna throw em out, but if someone wants/needs
one, lmk!  THey are both in good condition, not to much rust.. if any!
