Yikes,

You mean to say that the header which is already installed will no longer be
of use? Sheit!  That makes me wanna keep looking for an Audi block.

A local Audi mech recommended that I bore out my present block.  Any
comments on that?

I've already changed the bearings, etc.  Thus, the block is freshly rebuilt
and reboring it is plausible a consideration.  Should I bore it to a 2.0l or
what the heck, go for the 2.1l?
