RE: leaking coolant, but from where?



humm 14psi compression.... you must mean bars, 1bar=14.5 psi that would
equal 203 PSI
now I am unsure of the pressure values on the 16v, but on the 8v a new
engine specs is 143-174PSI
so looks like it would be alright.

Do not forget to Hold the gas pedal on the floor while
doing compression check.

I got 7-8-8-9 PSI as a compression and was suggested to
rebuild engine ASAP.
Then did another check with gas pedal on the floor and
I got 14-15-15-14 PSI and I'm still driving happily. :)
