Re: head toast? (long)



I'm guessing headgasket.  What's your coolant level like?  What does
the oil look like?  If the oil looks like creamy coffee foam, there's
water in it.  From what you say, a compression check is definitely in
order, and if you blew a headgasket, you may have damaged the head
and/or bottom end by continuing to drive it.  Sorry for the bad
prediction, but that's where I think you're headed...
