Re: Mt Hamilton Run...-in....was:Cop Stories!!

Puhleeesse!

Imagine how I felt as I come flying around a corner to see the four of you
guys being tailed by that Sheriff Suburban. You guys had all slowed down to
about 25 MPH, and I thought you were all busted at that point. So, I slow
WAY down and turn on my Motorola radio, but you guys aren't saying NUTHIN'!
I slowed down enough to be out of site of the Sheriff and trying to get Glen
and the others behind me on the radio. They were WAY behind us. So, I either
had to stop on the road completely (no shoulders to stop on) or go again. I
pull around the next corner and see Joe pulled over and Randy and Eric
taking off. As I try to go around the cop, he gets out of the car. He took
one look at me and waved me to pull over in front of Joe. I'm thinkin',
"I've been railing this car for miles now and I have no clue what the speed
limit is. Have they been staking out this road?" Thankfully no, and all I
got is the no-front-plate ticket, too.

But what did I do as all the other guys on the trip pulled over less than a
1/4 mile ahead of us? I radioed ahead, and told them all to leave unless
they wanted a ticket too. They all ran off ahead, and Joe and I took the
fall for everyone. No biggie, it's not a moving violation so I could care
less.

What a putz, too. They cop actually whipped a U-turn to get us on a road IN
THE MIDDLE OF F-ING NOWHERE!
