RE: Rear wheel bearing job.... Done

JM-
Pull off each wheel ass'y, carefully look at each. If you see nothing
obvious, look at each hub. Spin it. Listen. Look for anything out of the
ordinary that is physically located close enough to any rotating part to
touch it at speed.
This is another of those problems wherein the person experiencing it knows
infinitley more about it than anyone else on the list.
Based on only a "whump-whump" sound, I'd say CV boot.....or tire.

There are no CV's in the back. Ok, "NO" but only because you said please.
But there are no CV's back there.

Well, 55 is not as loud (IE, road noise, tire noise, wind noise) as 80.
Are there vibrations involved?
Shawn's top 10 vague sounds list:
1) CV joint (outer and inner.)
2) CV boots (outer and inner.)
3) wheel out of ballance
4) debris stuck to the tire
5) out of round tire
6) bent wheel
7) wheel bearing
8) bent axle
9) tie rods
10) loose body parts/pieces

>Ok what is it?

I dunno, whats it sound like?
