Good to know they were a direct swap.  Keep in mind, newer seats ARE going
to feel better than 13-year-old seats, even if the designs are identical.
(I would love to sit in brand-new MkII sport seats, just to see what they
felt like 'way back then...) So, your experience shouldn't diss the 'Rocco
units.

I just put these in my 88 16v, AND OH MY GOODNESS, they are so much better 
than scirocco2 sport seats, SOOOO much more comfortable, and they are a 
straight trade, you dont have to do anything, just bolt em in.
