 rust spots on the discs won't hurt.  go for a 15-minute drive.  when you
get back - voila' - the rust will be gone!   (...it's a miracle!!)

Thanks to all those who gave me info on the 190E. I am now the proud
owner of
"The winter Panzer". 1987 190E 2.3 L4. Unfortunately
automatic.129000km.Extremely clean,no rust, mint leather interior. One
owner(65 yr old lady!).$5500Canadian(~$3750US).Needs new pads& discs
resurfaced(rust spots from sitting idle),fix leaking p/s pump,motor
mount,idle-arm bushing,transmission seal leaking( from sitting idle too
long and drying out), new front shocks.
  Most asked question:"So you drive a VW in summer and a Mercedes in the
winter???"
