RE: plasma/hid/xenon suggestions?

Interesting enough I have been doing allot of research on the
subject, since I have been wanting to relay my euro lights (now
done), I am searching for the best light combination.

Hella has similar claims 30% light output increase there H1 and
H4's 55w/60w (~70w/78w) claims higher output than consumption of
power. (www.hella.com) new products section. PIAA claims 100/110w
on 55w/60w bulbs (h4 Super Plasma) #15560) (+ 48% output than
consumption), and the list goes one....

Now I will agree they are manipulating the market and people
looking to buy to get them to purchase their bulbs.

Now we should all use common sense, and not fall into the "blue
light" syndrome, the Xenon particularly are the cheapest in all
lights line of production. I have not completed my research
(missing Philips at this point), but I will base my purchase on my
need for new bulbs (as one of mine is lightly less powerful than
the other).

I will remain in the 55w/60w range because I have no need for
higher more powerful bulbs on my car. PIAA, Hella, Philips OSRAM ??
which one I will be buy, depends perhaps which one is in my cash
range in my pocket, and also which one my local parts dealer can
acquire or carry, so I will have a "preferred" and "second choice."
and be satisfied with the personal educated choice I made.

Noticed I never mentioned the person you referred the web base
personal commentary, well here is my impression: personally he does
have valid points, that are worth noting, but this type of
commentary should not be placed on a mercantile web page, it
delineates preference, but more so, a hot headed column, that
weights only an attack on a particular product instead of basing it
on a research of information, so that he may sway clients to buy
his other products that in fact, based on equal products, are..
equal, claims appreciatively the same output gains and yet, he
singles out PIAA, sorry, grown men running a business should not
make childish uneducated, un-research commentaries on theirs own
business web sites. Personally I value some of the information he
has given, but I will not purchase anything from him.
