Re: Re-Use the head bolts?



If the head on the bolt is an internal 12pt then they are stratch bolts. If 
it is an allen then they are the lamer ones. Replace them with stretch 
bolts. Seeing as how you are rebuilding your engine you should put new bolts 
in. I have reused head bolts (stretch type) with no negative affects. I 
wouldnt recommend using them more than three times though ;-)
