Rust

  Congrats on the new Scirocco.  It sounds like you have plenty of "raw
material" for a very nice street car.
What is "terminal" rust?  depends....if you can see daylight through it,
then major repairs are called for.  ANY rust can be repaired, it just
depends on how much work/expense you are willing to incur to cut out and
replace the rusted areas.  At some point, the w/e gets to be more than the
car is worth.  That point comes sooner for some people (and for some cars)
than for others.  Only you know what your limit is....

Here are some of the problems.  Rust.  I don't know what terminal rust
really looks like, but this car has rust at the bottom of the back
windows, at the door sills when you open the door and behind the rear
wheels.  It also is musty inside so there is some other leak too. (No
sunroof).  Currently this car turns over, but doesn't run.
