MKII options WAS speaking of new VW's

beg to differ, I have an 85, and my girl (yes its a girl. surprised?) has
the following options AC, Power steering (yes an options) Cruise Control,
Rear Window Washer/Wiper, electric mirrors (heated), central locking system,
Metalic paint (yes an option), am/fm/cass radio with 4 speakers, power
windows, and sunroof with tilt. and no its not a wolfsburg.

perhaps on the later year models in the usa (yes mine is an american car
(texan as a matetr of fact).) had less options?

Hey Tony,

If memory serves me correctly it was about $1,200. The only options
available on the MKII in the US were: Sunroof, leather, power package, a/c
and stereo (yes it was an option). I don't remember all the exact prices
but I think that the sunroof was the most expensive option.
