RE: speaking of new VW's



By M3 compacts, I assume you refer to early M3s?  The current model is
considerably larger than my E28 5.  Not a compact in any way, IMO.

The way cars grow over time doesn't make sense to me.  The Bimmers above are
a good example, and look at the current Civic compared to one from about
1979.
