Death to a creeper.....

I couldn't find my impact wrench today. Hmmm. 

It had to happen. After all, it was down to 2 front caster wheels and
most of the mid section had broken away. *sigh*.

Today I was working on the 84 Roc, pulling the motor/trans for the new
motor installation project (never ending!). I was under the car unbolting
the axle bolts BY HAND, I couldn't find the impact! it takes alot of time
to undo 6 bolts ya know. I couldn't find my impact. So, as I was sliding
out from under the car I snagged the corner of the creeper on one of the
jack stands and I felt a terrible crunch and I felt my head drop to the
concrete. 

I couldn't find my impact. I scrunch out from under the car and see what
I knew was the scene. Splinters and only slight remnants of what used to
be a trusty creeper. Ive had it as long as ive had my 82 Roc. I couldn't
find my impact, anywhere. Ive done so much with that cheap little wooden
roller under the car-er. Countless motor swaps, tranny jobs you name it,
I used that creeper to do the job with. At least it was kind enough to
hold together for one last job. Oh wait, I still gotta install
everything. Damn, gotta buy a new one. I couldn't find my impact all day
which really pisses me off.

On the brighter side, im one day closer to the ND show and I still got a
shitload of work to do before I leave. I couldn't find my impact which
just sucks the droopy boob.
